I'm so sorry that I've kept you out of the loop for so long. Here is a recap of January-May. We had an eventful few days from the "snow apocalypse." It seemed that every week had some unexpected event. After all that, we celebrated Read Across America by doing many activities. We then switched gears for SAT testing. We ended the day before spring break by spending it outside. We have had field day. Lastly, we enjoyed ourselves at the zoo! Here are pictures for your enjoyment!
Hello! I know I disappeared in December, but I'm back! This week is our Homecoming Week @ Cahawba. We've had so much fun during the dress up days. We can't wait to show off our cheer and banner at the pep rally tomorrow! Go Chargers!

To wrap up our landform unit, I made landform cakes! I also had the kids point out what we studied on the cake, then we ate them. Yummy!

Hello! I realized that I said I'd blog on Halloween..but never trust my word when I say something about blogging.. Anyways, I went as Belle from "Beauty and the Beast." I got complements from everyone.
A first grader dressed up as the beast. I, of course, had to have a picture.
Saturday was the school's fall festival. We raised over $100 for our school buy selling chili. The PTO sponsored a "jail n bail." Guess who got put in there 3 times..hopefully, it want out of grief..
Friday is our Veteran's Day Program. Monday is an off day. Hello, 3 day weekend!
